Best In Brixton returns to Brixton Jamm!

The ‘Best In Brixton’ Festival returns to Jamm on May bank holiday weekend with a massive  music fundraiser for local children’s and youth services in the area.

Organised by Alabama 3′s songstress Aurora Dawn, The ‘Best In Brixton’ Festival will take place at Jamm on 25th & 26th May and feature a fantastic line up including Howard Marks, Alabama 3, Dub Pistols, Stereo MCs and stacks more!

In 2012 Best In Brixton Festival raised close to £10,000 for a local park. Underfunded and in excessive demand, Brixton’s children and youth services will benefit from a buzzin’ line-up of rockers and DJs across the weekend.

Proceeds raised this year will benefit Kids Venture in Loughborough Park (helping build a stage for community events) and Jamm Rock (a youth arts project) amongst other positive intiatives. Check out the video below in which Aurora explains all about the fantastic festival…

The ‘Best In Brixton’ Festival takes place at Brixton Jamm, 261 Brixton Road on Sunday 25th May (noon – 10pm) and Monday 26th May (1pm – midnight). Tickets are £8 and can be bought here.
